Attendees will get a behind-the-scenes look at OCU's largest wastewater treatment facility [permitted capacity of 56.0 million gallons per day (mgd)], and will gain valuable insight into wastewater treatment design and facility operations. | 11/9/2024 | Join FWEA CFC and students from various universities for a beach cleanup on the Space Coast to help protect our beautiful coastline! We'll spend the day picking up trash and debris to ensure a local beach stays clean and safe for visitors. Supplies like gloves and trash bags will be provided. This event is a great way to give back to the community while enjoying the outdoors and networking with the next generation of water and wastewater professionals. The event will be highlighted by a presentation from Pollop Phonpornwithoon, the Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department's (PBCWUD) Assistant Utility Director for Operations and Maintenance.
