Join FWEA CFC, FSAWWA Region III, and other supporting organizations for a beach cleanup on the Space Coast to help protect our beautiful coastline! We'll spend the day picking up trash and debris to ensure a local beach stays clean and safe for visitors. Supplies like gloves and trash bags will be provided. This event is a great way to give back to the community while enjoying the outdoors and networking with the next generation of water and wastewater professionals. Following the cleanup we will have various tailgate-style games, barbecued food, and non-alcoholic beverages so feel free to bring family and friends!

This beach cleanup is dedicated in honor of Amber Balester, one of FWEA SYPC and CFC's most trusted and active member. We will take a few moments at the beginning of this event to remember her legacy.

Pollop Phonpornwithoon, Assistant Utility Director for Operations and Maintenance for the Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department (PBCWUD), will give a presentation to highlight the occasion. The presentation revolves around a case study of the successful implementation of ISO 55001 of PBCWUD, the first water and wastewater utility in North America to achieve certification, highlighting the benefits realized for all stakeholders.
