Please join FWEA as we partner with Friends of Loch Haven Chain of Lakes to pick up trash from in and around Lake Formosa. This cleanup is in conjunction with a larger event that will spread volunteers out among multiple lakes including Lake Estelle, Lake Rowena, Lake Sue, and Lake Winyah. FWEA will focus our efforts on Lake Formosa along with CFL Recon.
You do not need to have your own vessel to take part, there is plenty of green space to walk on foot picking up trash.
Please bring a hat, sunglasses, gloves and sunscreen. FWEA will provide snacks and beverages to keep us hydrated. We hope to see you there.
